22nd Century Technologies Inc.: XtractIQ

22nd Century Technologies, Inc. has successfully stood up a vendor-built solution named XtractIQ®, which is an intelligent document processing solution hosted in a dedicated GovCloud environment. Our solution is designed to be used by any Agency for their digitalization and digitization initiatives. Currently being leveraged by the IRS to support digitalization and digitization initiatives directly tied the paperless processing components of the IRS Inflation Reduction Act. This vendor-built solution was stood up in rapid fashion following a 3-Phase procurement process that was defined by the IRS Taxpayer Services pilot, which followed the core guidelines of a vendor-built solicitation and solution stand-up. Our vendor-build solution successfully passed all physical and cybersecurity control during multiple audits conducted by the IRS, which led to the IRS greenlighting the IRS to use our solution for filing seasons 2022 and beyond. Aside from providing the IRS with enhanced digitization and digitalization capabilities to support paperless processing using our solution’s AI, ML, and NLP technologies, it also securely transmits taxpayer’s tax form 1040+28 digital information directly to the IRS MeF system. Throughout the entire process, the 22nd Century Technologies has demonstrated a deep understanding of the unique security, compliance, and operational requirements associated with the XtractIQ® GovCloud implementations for the IRS. XtractIQ® focuses on meeting the specific requirements of the IRS while adhering to the strict regulatory frameworks governing cloud services used by federal government agencies.
